Cisco IP Telephone: How to add a Speed Dial

Configure Speed Dial on your Cisco IP Telephone by using the Unified Communications Self Care Portal

1. Navigate to https://phonesetup.moravian.edu/ucmuser/main#telephonypage
2. From "My Phones", select the Cisco 78XX or 88XX desk phone, and click "Settings"
   • 
3. Click the drop down arrow next to "Speed Dial Numbers", and select "Add New Speed Dial"
4. Enter the phone number, Label, and Speed Dial Number
   • Dialing rules apply. Use 9 + 1 + area code + phone number if the speed dial is an external line. Use the 4 digit extension if an on-campus extension.

5.  Click "Save"

Accessing Speed Dial from your IP Desk Phone

• Press the down arrow on the Navigation bar when the phone is idle, then scroll to the speed dial item and press the round Select button
