The technology available for presenting in room and/or Zoom includes a wall mounted display, in-room PTZ camera, Yamaha speaker & mic. The presenter must provide the laptop for presenting.

Power on all necessary devices

  • Power on the Display using the black NEC remote
  • Power on the PTZ Camera using the white remote
  • Power on the Yamaha Speaker/Mic by pressing the power button until it turns Green

Present from a laptop

  • Connect a laptop to the USB-C/HDMI dock that is connected to the wall mounted controller
  • Your laptop should now display the content of your screen on the Display
    • If your laptop does not automatically detect the output devices,
      • Check to make sure the controller mounted on the wall is powered on.
      • Check the display settings on your laptop are set to mirror your desktop

If presenting to Zoom participants outside the classroom

  • Launch Zoom Meeting from the laptop 
  • Ensure the following Speaker/Mic/Camera settings are selected for Audio Video when joining the meeting
    • Audio Mic = Yamaha
    • Audio Speaker = Yamaha
    • Video = AW-UE4 (the camera mounted on top of Display)
  • To control the in room camera PTZ capabilities, use the white remote to zoom in or out as preferred.
