DUO & DIGITAL ID SETUP
To Get Started:
Download the Duo Mobile application from your phone’s app store.
Download Transact E-Accounts application from your phone’s app store.
DUO Multi-Factor Authentication Setup
Current Moravian University students, faculty, and staff have likely completed this portion of the process already and can skip to Activating Your Digital ID.
- Once those two applications have been downloaded please navigate to login.moravian.edu on your mobile device or computer.
- Once you reach login.moravian.edu, please login with the Moravian credentials provided to you. Using the Moravian email as the username and the Password for the password. Once you’ve logged in, you’ll be prompted to change your password to be something more personal with a minimum of 14 characters.
- Once your new password is set you will be prompted to go through and set up security methods for your account. This is where the Duo Mobile application you downloaded earlier comes into play.
- Click the “Set up” button.
Okta will prompt you, again, to enroll your NetID with the new Duo Universal Prompt. Click the blue “Enroll” button.
The enrollment process will ask you to authenticate with your most secure device. If you complete this authentication, your enrollment will be complete.
- If you do not want to use that device, click “Other options”
Most secure - Platform authenticators
Second most secure - Roaming authenticators
Third most secure - Verified Duo Push
and so on.
- If you click "Other Options", you will be given a list of your configured devices and can select the device that you want to be the new default.
Duo will prompt your chosen device and once you complete the authentication, your enrollment will be complete and you will be returned to login.moravian.edu.
Activating Your Digital ID
- Open the Transact eAccounts application on your phone that you downloaded at the start of this process. Once open, swipe through the prompts and tap “Get Started” at the bottom. Next, search for Moravian University.
- Tap Moravian SSO for signin and tap “Continue to Sign In”.
- Sign in with your Moravian Credentials and then verify them with Duo.
- Once you’ve verified your account with your preferred method via Duo, if you have not already had a Campus ID photo taken, you will need to add one. Tap the settings gear icon in the top right, and then “Submit ID Photo,” and follow the prompts.
- Now, you’ll have the option to add your Campus ID with the “Add to Wallet” button. You can then choose which wallet you want to add.
For Android users you can choose Google Wallet or Samsung wallet, and for Apple users, you can choose Apple Wallet and follow the steps to complete the process.
Next Steps: Uploading your photo for approval. Campus Police will approve or reach out to you directly if there is an issue with the photo submission.
Physical ID Card Requests
Questions and concerns about IDs should be directed to Campus Police, 610-861-1421. The office is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
All Physical ID requests still require a photo to be uploaded before the ID can be printed. To upload your photo for approval by Campus Police follow the below instructions.
- Login to Okta Single Sign-On (login.moravian.edu) with your Moravian netid and password
- Find and select the app titled "Dining - Transact eAccounts" or "Transact - eAccounts"
- Select "Profile" from the menu
- Select "Click to upload photo" to upload your photo file from your computer
- Select a .png or .jpg photo to upload, and wait for processing to complete
- Once photo is processed view for accuracy and click Submit & Sign out
