Cisco Unity Voicemail

First Time Voicemail Setup for New Users
  
The first time you login to the Unity voicemail system, you will be guided through recording your name, greeting, and changing your PIN.  Please use the following information to  setup your mailbox for the first time.

 

  • Press the message button on the telephone  
  • Enter your PIN, then press #
  • DEFAULT PIN IS 0000
  • Follow the prompts to 
    • Record Your Name 
    • Record Your Standard Greeting 
    • Set Your new PIN

NOTE: Please complete the setup fully (follow prompts until notified the mailbox setup is complete) OR it will repeat again next time you log in.     

Accessing Voicemail After Setup

On Campus – from the phone assigned to your extension

  • Press the message button on the telephone  
  • Enter your PIN, then press #


On Campus – From a phone NOT assigned to your extension

  • Press the message button or dial 8000
  • Press * key
  • Enter your Extension, then press #
  • Enter your PIN, then press #

Off-Campus

  • Dial your office telephone number, when you hear the greeting…
  • Press * key
  • Enter your Extension, then press #
  • Enter your PIN, then press #       


NOTE: Voicemail messages will also be sent to your Moravian email account

Telephone Dialing Information

On Campus

  • Dial 4-digit extension of on-campus telephone
  • Campus Security: Dial 1421
    • Non-Emergency: 1421 (on campus); 610-861-1421 (off-campus)
    • Emergency: 1465 (on campus); 610-861-1465 (off-campus)

Local Calls

  • Dial 9 + area code + seven-digit number

Long Distance

  • Dial 9 + 1 + area code + seven-digit number

International

  • Dial 9 + 011 + country code + city code + number

 NOTE: International dialing is restricted by default. If International dialing is required for a telephone, please submit an IT service request to the Help Desk.

Toll Free

  • Dial 9 + 1 + 800 + seven-digit number
