If an individual has gotten a new phone and cannot access their old phone, they will not be able to add their Moravian Digital ID to their Apple Wallet on their new device until they remove it from an old device. Users may have their Digital ID on a max of 2 devices and most will have it on their phone and watch. In order to remove the ID from their Apple wallet on their old phone that is inaccessible, the steps below should be followed.
Apple
- Navigate to the user’s iCloud information on the new phone.
- Scroll and find the list of devices linked to their Apple Account
- Find the old device and tap on it.
- Scroll to see the cards or payment options linked to its wallet
- You can’t remove individual items, you’ll have to remove them all for this to work.
- Tap remove all – wait for the process to complete
- Proceed to add ID to the Apple Wallet on the new phone.
