NOTE: Be
sure to download Respondus Lockdown Browser prior to exam day.
It you run into
any issues, you can schedule an appointment
at the IT Help Desk and they can walk you through it, ensuring that you are set
to go when exam day comes.
Steps to
Download:
Click on this
link: https://www.respondus.com/lockdown/download.php?ID=915653919
Follow the
prompts. Click Install Now.
Click
on the downloaded file- if using Chrome it will appear in your downloads bar at
the bottom.
Click
on this icon:
Next
you will see these prompts. Click Continue to get through them :
Click
Agree.
Click
Install.
You
may have to enter your computer credentials. Click Install Software.
When
the installation is complete, you will see this screen:
The
lockdown browser icon will either appear on your desktop or under Launchpad. If
you do not see it on your desktop, you can find it by going to Launchpad:
And
then scrolling through until you see:
For Exam Day:
When it’s time to take an exam, you will access the exam by
clicking this icon 
first, and then navigating
to the Canvas quiz you are taking.
LockDown browser will prompt you to close any forbidden
applications that it detects prior to allowing you to access the quiz.
