Lockdown Browser Tips and Tricks

There are two kinds of quizzes professors can set up in Canvas: 

•  Canvas Classic Quizzes (white with a green outline)
  • Open Lockdown Browser directly, log into Canvas, navigate to the course then quiz all within Lockdown Browser.
• New Quizzes (solid green)
  • You will navigate to the quiz using your normal browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.).

IMPORTANT note for EITHER kind of quiz.

• Quizzes can never be accessed through the ‘To-Do List’ view of Canvas. Students MUST go to the course itself, and then to the quizzes tab to access the quiz.
